Systems Engineering Consultant – Integration Specialist
MotivaConsultant managing integration and interface processes in complex metro-rail systems projects for Motiva. Responsible for ensuring compliance and technical authority throughout project life cycle.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure correct execution of the integration process and interface management in multidisciplinary projects, coordinating a network of specialists and ensuring traceability, governance and risk mitigation with systems-level vision and a process-driven approach throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as a technical authority in at least one metro-rail system, issuing technical opinions and recommendations and auditing process execution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define engineering procedures, standards and best practices, ensuring that technical documentation for systems and their interfaces incorporates best practices, applicable standards, lessons learned and meets contractual requirements related to performance, quality and safety.
- Act as the integration focal point on complex projects, ensuring validation of technical and functional integration activities between metro-rail systems and subsystems (Rolling Stock, Track/Permanent Way, Signaling, Power, Auxiliary Systems, Civil Works, Technology – Telecommunications, Engineering/IT, Operations/Maintenance and RAMS).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Civil or related fields)
- Systems thinking and proven experience in metro-rail systems projects (railway, metro, monorail) — design, integration, testing and commissioning phases
- Knowledge of interface management, requirements traceability, change management and integration processes for large-scale railway projects
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings
- Experience with interpretation and reading of engineering drawings (CAD)
- Familiarity with metro-rail standards (CENELEC / ISO) and process development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, BI tools and other software, including KPI generation
- Team player, organized, clear communicator and process-oriented
- Innovative and solution-focused mindset
- Sense of ownership
- Understanding of lean concepts and management of technical risks
- Intermediate to advanced English
