About the role

  • Manage contracted consultancies for the development of land studies (expropriation and clearance/vacating), ensuring scope, schedule, cost and quality of deliverables;
  • Contribute to defining assumptions for projects under study, taking into account legal, regulatory and land-related aspects;
  • Help identify and report risks discovered during expropriation and clearance studies;
  • Monitor the development of technical and legal assumptions applicable to expropriation and clearance processes in highway concessions;
  • Collaborate with the various teams involved in the project study (cost, design, operations, maintenance, risk, among others) to contribute on related topics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Forest, Agronomic, Civil, Surveying (geomatics/topography) or related fields
  • Experience in transport infrastructure projects, especially in land tenure and acquisition matters
  • Knowledge of land-related legal frameworks and regulations
  • Experience managing contracts and land consultancy services
  • Ability to prepare and analyze technical budgets and estimates
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Availability to travel
  • Desirable: knowledge of georeferencing/GIS systems (ArcGIS, QGIS) and planning tools
