About the role

  • Provide guidance to consultancies and supervise socio-environmental studies
  • Verify the quality and compliance of deliverables through technical inspections
  • Be responsible for obtaining required licenses and/or authorizations
  • Support stakeholder management through meetings and follow-up
  • Assist the project team in defining alternatives to reduce socio-environmental impacts
  • Contribute to ensuring that construction works proceed in environmental compliance
  • Support the legal team in litigation or in interactions with the Public Prosecutor's Office
  • Participate in five-year planning and its monthly monitoring
  • Manage environmental contracts, ensuring the project remains within the agreed scope, cost, schedule, and quality
  • Ensure that lessons learned are recorded and disseminated

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Forestry Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Agronomy, Biology, Geography, or Ecology
  • Proven experience in environmental licensing and project management
  • Knowledge of current environmental legislation and standards
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proactive and able to solve problems
  • Knowledge of Power BI (asset)
  • Knowledge of ArcGIS (asset)
