About the role
- Conduct studies and cost estimates for investments and new business opportunities by developing, understanding, and critically analyzing deliverables
- Perform economic and financial feasibility assessments of solutions and projects by developing, understanding, and critically analyzing deliverables
- Prepare the concessionaires' multi-year plan (five-year) in addition to identifying investment needs (contractual and non-contractual) and preparing/updating budgets for non-contracted works
- Analyze the financial impacts resulting from project changes (MP), unforeseen services (NP) and claims for expenses (RD) for projects, through technical analysis verifying quantities, new prices, and contract compliance
- Work with Business Units/Divisions to negotiate cost engineering matters with the Granting Authority, by understanding and critically analyzing investment budgets and preparing technical responses and justifications when required, including participation in technical meetings with regulatory agencies
- Collaborate closely with other areas of Motiva Rodovias to integrate competencies and seek project alternatives that create business value, developing value engineering structures through critical analysis of documented lessons learned and contributing to their identification and recording
- Work together with Procurement to monitor solicitation results with the objective of bringing the most economical solution to projects under study
- Improve knowledge of the operating environment by researching and evaluating scenarios and trends, including products and roadway engineering construction solutions, to promote continuous process improvement
- This position is also responsible for compliance and anti-bribery duties, considering that the role and area represent more than low compliance and bribery risk and that activities under its control are part of Motiva Group's compliance and anti-bribery management system, in accordance with ABNT NBR ISO37301 and ISO37001. The incumbent is required to complete mandatory declarations and specific training assigned by the Motiva Group based on their job activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proficiency with estimating tools such as advanced Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project
- Experience in estimating road infrastructure or heavy civil works
- Interface with technical areas, procurement and planning
- Knowledge of public cost tables: Sicro, Sinapi, DER/SP
- Familiarity with analysis and preparation of contract addenda
- Availability to work on-site three times per week in Jundiaí/SP
- Experience with Compor 90 and SAP is desirable
- Knowledge of BIM modeling (for quantities extraction and cost simulations).
