About the role

  • Record accounting entries and prepare accounting reports in accordance with accounting, corporate and tax principles and standards, within the deadlines, policies, rules and procedures established by Motiva Group.
  • Prepare and provide monthly and managerial trial balances and, for trial balances, in the format required by the granting authorities, ensuring they accurately reflect the business unit's and Motiva's economic and financial position.
  • Assist in the preparation of the Individual Annual Financial Statements and the corresponding publications of the Financial Statements in newspapers, to ensure the accuracy of information disclosed to the market, the Securities and Exchange Commission (for publicly traded companies), shareholders and other stakeholders.
  • Draft and obtain approval for corporate policies, rules and procedures related to accounting and tax processes.
  • Support external, internal and granting-authority audits, providing all necessary clarifications to meet deadlines and ensure the quality and reliability of audit work.
  • Prepare SPED Accounting files (SPED Contábil) within established deadlines.
  • Ensure accounting records comply with current standards by performing account analyses and adjusting information through supplementary entries.
  • Ensure the preparation and availability of monthly and managerial trial balances by reviewing information recorded in the financial system.
  • Prepare Quarterly, Semiannual and Annual Individual and Consolidated Financial Statements based on validated accounting information from the companies.
  • Assist with external, internal and granting-authority audit tasks and inquiries, responding to requests submitted by auditors and granting authorities and providing supporting documents and explanations.

  • Ensure the information required for statutory accounting filings is prepared, verifying auxiliary accounting reports and producing the data in the required format for submission to the competent authorities.
  • Act as a key user of the systems used by the accounting area, supporting the technology team in resolving issues, managing master data and setting system parameters.

Requirements

  • ✅ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics or Accounting;
  • ✅ Knowledge of internal rules, instructions and procedures, and contract regulations;
  • ✅ Microsoft Office proficiency;
  • ✅ Must reside in Tatuí, Jundiaí, Sorocaba or Barueri.
