About the role

  • Develop work programs and execute Internal Audits based on risks through process mapping, risk identification, analysis of data and documents, validation of results, and preparation of recommendations to address weaknesses.
  • Analyze large datasets to broaden the coverage of Internal Audit results using the data analysis tools available at Grupo Motiva, such as ACL and Power BI.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for Internal Audit assignments using tools available at Grupo Motiva, such as Power BI, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Assist third-party firms that perform internal audits by extracting reports and other necessary evidence from Motiva systems, participating in meetings to monitor discussions and facilitating communication during the audit process.
  • Control and monitor Internal Audit action plans through internal tracking by uploading and/or updating information in the system, and timely analysis of evidence and/or justifications for status changes.
  • Keep the repository of ongoing or completed internal audits updated using the Archer tool, uploading and/or updating information in the system at each stage or upon completion of work.
  • Perform ad hoc or routine diagnostics, when necessary, to meet specific demands by evaluating existing controls within business processes.

  • Required knowledge and certifications:
  • Knowledge of Internal Audit methodology (IPPF – International Professional Practices Framework)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Data analysis tools (ACL, IDEA, etc.)
  • Data presentation tools (Power BI)
  • Process mapping methodologies
  • Risk management methodologies
  • Development of internal controls
  • SAP system
  • Intermediate English
  • Basic Spanish
