About the role
- Analyze and interpret concession contracts, ensuring all parties comply with the established terms and conditions as well as applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage the execution of concession contracts, monitoring the performance of all parties involved and contributing to the achievement of established objectives and targets.
- Identify and assess risks associated with concession contracts, proposing mitigation strategies to protect the company’s interests.
- Monitor the progress of administrative sanctioning procedures and legal proceedings related to concession contracts, supporting the legal department with contractual background and evidence for preparation of defense documents.
- Conduct regular audits of concession contracts to ensure compliance and identify any irregularities or areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on the status of concession contracts, including progress, risks, and identified issues.
- Ensure maintenance of the economic-financial balance through analysis of the contracts’ risk matrix; support in preparing the rationale that underpins requests for contractual rebalancing; collect and consolidate supporting evidence from internal areas of the company for rebalancing claims; assist in preparing marginal cash flow projections; engage in technical discussions with Granting Authorities; monitor and analyze public consultations on proposed new legislation.
- Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure effective implementation of concession contracts.
- Support dissemination of knowledge regarding obligations established in concession contracts through continuous liaison/integration with other company areas, meetings, presentations, workshops, preparation of legal opinions, and responding to contract-related queries.
- Negotiate terms and conditions of concession contracts, working closely with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Keep up to date with laws and regulations relevant to concession contracts, ensuring the company remains compliant.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for effective concession contract management.
- Preserve regulatory security of concession contracts by controlling and recording daily in CEDOC all correspondence received from and issued to Concessionaires regarding contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Economics, or Engineering.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Power BI.
- Knowledge of legal requirements in the airport sector, analysis and interpretation of concession contracts, and regulatory knowledge (ANAC, legislation, risk matrix, etc.).
- Intermediate English.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in internal and external stakeholder relations to liaise with Granting Authorities, legal teams, operational areas, and executives.
- Intermediate Spanish.
