About the role

  • Plan and consolidate the short- and long-term financial budget (trends and budget planning – PO and TLP), using information provided by the internal areas of Bloco Sul, Bloco Central and Pampulha and the Advanced/CSC units;
  • Support business areas in building revenue, OPEX and CAPEX budgets, developing an Excel budget template;
  • Prepare and analyze management reports (Income Statement — DRE, Cash Flow — FC, Balance Sheet — BP) for reporting to the Executive Board and the Division, using data from BIIP and information provided by internal areas;
  • Support approval of strategic projects and business cases by preparing Financial Modeling using Excel spreadsheets;
  • Produce and analyze monthly results, explain variances and prepare presentation materials when requested by analyzing actual results and generating variance reports for the business division;
  • Assess the financial viability of strategic projects (NPV, IRR, Payback) using information received from internal areas;
  • Publish results and consolidate justifications for variances between budgeted and actual Revenue, OPEX and CAPEX by business units to support financial results through meetings and targeted requests;
  • Monitor and analyze journal entries, reclassifications, provisions and reversals, allowance for doubtful accounts (PDD), trial balances and accounting ledgers, and balance sheet accounts using actuals reports generated by the BIIP system;
  • Consolidate operational data (passengers, aircraft movements — MTA, cargo) and financial data using information received from internal areas and report to the Business, Performance and Division teams;
  • Respond to requests and the calendar of the business division, Motiva corporate areas, External Audit and other stakeholders by providing data and information about the business units, obtaining information from internal areas and systems;
  • Assist in debt structuring and in gathering data and documentation for third-party funding to ensure continuity of airport operations by seeking financing sources that provide the best return to the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or Engineering;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Corporate Finance, FP&A and Cost Management;
  • Intermediate English;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power BI;
  • Knowledge of Tax Planning;
  • Knowledge of Airport Management;
  • Intermediate Spanish.
