Schedule Testing Operators and assign vehicles in coordination with AV Testing Operations Fleet Coordinators and AV Testing Operations Managers
Coordinate within AV Testing Operations to conduct and complete daily/weekly testing activities
Provide Testing Operators with current and accurate information regarding vehicle allocation and software bundle requirements
Review Dev Tickets (DTs) for discrepancies and safety concerns prior to scheduling
Ingest and review DriveLogs in coordination with the Triage Team as applicable
Collect, track, and analyze trend information essential for daily vehicle testing operations
Lead specialized group projects, including coordination of high-level internal and external vehicle demonstrations
Oversee daily shift execution of operations safety protocols/procedures in accordance with Safety policy
Conduct basic AV system troubleshooting and facilitate Quick Action Reporting procedures in coordination with Fleet Supervisors and Vehicle Integration Engineers
Review in-vehicle dash camera footage
Attend daily briefings via Zoom or in-person
Review weekly feedback submissions
Provide job coaching and professional development for Testing Operators
Conduct performance reviews/evaluations and address Testing Operator performance issues through appropriate interventions
Approve and manage time-off requests
Complete additional duties as assigned
Requirements
Comprehensive understanding of daily/weekly testing processes and procedures
Proven experience in supervisory or leadership roles
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to delegate tasks effectively
Flexibility to work garage and office environments as required
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence applications
Ability to provide constructive feedback across various test types to Development Teams
Solid understanding of testing procedures conducted on test vehicles (DTs, VVR, VBS, etc.)
Previous supervisory or management experience
Proven management experience leading large Testing Operator teams (50+) to ensure efficient daily execution of scheduled missions
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite applications
Strong task management and organizational skills
Experience in automotive industry or fleet operations
Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting languages
Ability to thrive and make calculated decisions in fast-paced environments and meet short-notice deadlines
Flexibility to work varied shifts and extended hours during peak testing periods
Valid driver's license required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Science, or related field
Preferred: Hands-on experience working in Linux environments
Preferred: Data analysis and interpretation experience
