About the role
- Conduct in-home and on-site consultations with residential and commercial prospects
- Assess outdoor spaces and design custom automated misting system solutions
- Present proposals for system installations, seasonal service plans, and maintenance contracts
- Generate leads through canvassing, referrals, home shows, and community events
- Follow up on inbound inquiries from marketing campaigns and digital leads
- Build lasting relationships with customers to drive referrals and recurring revenue
- Partner with installation crews to ensure seamless customer handoffs
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity records in CRM software
- Represent MosquitoNix at local trade shows, expos, and community events
- Meet or exceed monthly and seasonal sales targets
Requirements
- 2+ years of outside or in-home sales experience
- Comfort with technology — CRM, tablet-based proposals, apps
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High integrity and customer-first mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and coachable
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
- Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in pest control, lawn care, home services, or outdoor living industries
- Familiarity with consultative or solution-based sales models
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms
- Existing network of homeowners, realtors, or property managers in the Twin Cities
- Bilingual a plus
