About the role
- Lead the company’s legal function and day-to-day legal operations.
- Build scalable legal processes, playbooks, negotiation strategies and approval frameworks tailored to a healthcare SaaS environment.
- Own negotiation and structuring of large, complex customer, vendor, and partner agreements which can consist of custom pricing, terms and structure.
- Oversee day-to-day contract execution handled by Contract Managers, establishing clear standards, review processes and escalation paths.
- Serve as the primary interface and quarterback for outside counsel.
- Act as the internal liaison for healthcare regulatory, compliance, and related legal matters, translating external legal advice into practical business guidance.
- Provide guidance on product releases, feature design and regulatory implications for new and evolving healthcare SaaS products
Requirements
- 8–12+ years of legal experience, including in-house commercial contracting
- Experience supporting healthcare, health tech, or regulated SaaS businesses
- Strong ability to manage outside counsel and complex legal workflows
- Proven track record partnering effectively with Sales, Finance, and executive leadership
- JD and active bar membership preferred, not required
