About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide overall leadership direction to one large project or multiple projects
- Manage project quality, timeliness, safety, and the project team
- Develop and improve customer relationships through excellent service
- Supervise overall financial health and maintain project financial and equipment projections
- Allocate project estimates into the financial system and determine cost codes
- Approve invoices and provide financials and billings to Accounting
- Create monthly owner billings
- Handle subcontracts and suppliers, manage budgets and selections
- Lead Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers, including assignments, training, and career development
- Serve as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
- Resolve site concerns, handle change orders, and obtain customer/architect approvals
- Maintain schedule and budget, and manage quality, risk, safety, and compliance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Current driver’s license
- Basic understanding of construction law and business practices
- Ability to travel up to 100%
- Ten years of construction management or related experience with large projects ($20M+)
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-visa sponsorship
