About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will take ownership of both the operational management of audits and retainers and the direct client relationship.
  • You will work closely with the leadership team (Jan, Head of Tech and Design, and Eike, Co‑Founder and Head of Client) as well as our designers and developers.
  • You will conduct GEO/AEO audits for our clients: visibility analyses in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, competitor benchmarking, prompt universe, technical SEO.
  • You will develop content and schema strategies per client and review technical implementation in the Webflow tech stack with our developers.
  • You will be responsible for monthly reporting and ongoing optimization for the client portfolio.
  • You will be the main point of contact, run strategy calls, status meetings and quarterly reviews.
  • You will identify upsell opportunities.
  • You will continuously improve our system (Foundation, Growth, Scale plus modules).
  • You will help expand our internal playbook for GEO/SEO audits.
  • You will identify new tools, methods and market developments, evaluate them critically and integrate them when appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Three to seven years of experience in SEO, including at least one year in an agency or managing multiple concurrent clients.
  • Experience with GEO/AEO.
  • Experience with DACH keyword data; US experience is a plus.
  • You have worked with AI-visibility tools (AthenaHQ, Peec AI, Profound, Otterly or similar), or you are clearly willing to immerse yourself deeply within the next three months.
  • You understand how AI search differs from classic Google search and where the levers differ.
  • You communicate clearly and proactively.
  • Clients like you because you take work off their plate rather than adding complexity.
  • You work in a structured way, document rigorously and meet deadlines.
  • You can translate technical topics for non-technical marketing or executive stakeholders.
  • Initial exposure to Webflow.
  • Understanding of content briefing and editorial management.
