About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sales, plan implementation, and service teams with onboarding and servicing new Morgan Stanley at Work clients, including takeover plans from competitive vendors
  • Administer nonqualified deferred compensation programs from initial eligibility and enrollment through ongoing contributions and distributions
  • Lead plan implementation through initial enrollment in partnership with the Implementation Specialist and external Client Administrator
  • Perform monthly and quarterly audits and reconciliations for assigned clients
  • Prepare and deliver annual funding analyses based on client expectations
  • Monitor compliance with global regulatory, tax, and securities requirements, including 409A criteria
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Finance, HR, Treasury, Tax, and other external stakeholders as needed
  • Maintain annual and semi-annual event calendars and proactively prepare timely administrative activities
  • Align service models across the book of business to improve scalability and value creation
  • Respond to escalated client inquiries and document communications, issues, and resolutions
  • Engage senior management to support issue resolution when needed
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize service offerings
  • Suggest improvements to NQDC products and platforms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of relevant financial services or related experience at the Associate level, focused on NQDC product management, service management, and/or plan operations
  • 5–7 years of relevant financial services or related experience at the AVP level, focused on NQDC product management, service management, and/or plan operations
  • Well-developed client relationship-building and management skills
  • Strong project management, process development, and communication skills
  • Extreme attention to detail and comfort with compliance language and processes
  • Clear and confident communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and cross-functional groups simultaneously
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and recommend solutions to tactical and strategic challenges
