About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Negotiate, review, and draft master agreements using English and New York law
  • Support Commodities desks with negotiations of physical and financial master agreements and ancillary documents
  • Review and negotiate ISDA schedules, ISDA annexes, NAESBs, EEIs, credit support annexes, bespoke physical master agreements, guaranties, and ancillary documents
  • Liaise with Credit, Risk, Legal, Sales, Operations, Tax, and other internal groups
  • Ensure appropriate terms are included in agreements to protect Morgan Stanley in line with policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Converse with clients regarding Morgan Stanley’s position in master agreements
  • Keep work-in-progress records up to date
  • Stay informed of business and regulatory developments affecting business operations
  • Execute master agreements effectively and efficiently

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree required
  • JD preferred
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and other trading documentation preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate ideas and forge strong internal and external relationships
  • Highly motivated and adaptable
