About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Directly manage a team of 20+ Virtual Engagement Associates supporting Financial Advisors through Digital Marketing or Financial Planning services
  • Supervise VEAs, including managing training and development
  • Monitor on-site performance, behavior, and general policy adherence
  • Develop effective teams, provide consistent leadership, and assume accountability for results
  • Ensure the team meets VEA standards of excellence, including client engagement metrics and activity logging
  • Coach and develop team members to improve performance across all metrics
  • Create performance improvement plans for underperforming VEAs as needed
  • Support the VEA Recruiter in campus recruiting through candidate interviews and other recruiting efforts
  • Conduct regular team meetings to share best practices and ideas
  • Maintain understanding and knowledge across all VEA services and offerings
  • Conduct performance reviews in partnership with the VEA Relationship Manager
  • Promote organization, discipline, accountability, and a strong work ethic

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, business development, management, sales, legal, accounting, education, military, or another business-related field
  • SIE required before start date
  • Series 7 and Series 66 required within 90 days from hire date / transfer-in date
  • Series 24 or 9/10 encouraged
  • Previous management experience required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Exemplary organization and time-management skills
  • Expert knowledge of PC, MS Office, and internet applications
  • Ability to work independently; flexibility and attention to detail
  • Authorized to work in the US without durational restrictions
  • Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments
