About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for daily performance and productivity of direct reports
Identify operational inefficiencies and suggest process improvements
Balance workload and scheduling for direct reports
Act as the escalation point for issues involving Private Bankers and Financial Advisors
Oversee lead management for the pipeline of new loan referrals
Ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
Partner with Complex Directors and Branch Managers to build relationships
Assist Regional Manager with onboarding new employees and scheduling oversight
Support Regional Manager when out of office
Participate in leadership coverage routines

Requirements

What you’ll need

4-8 years of mortgage experience (Operations and/or Sales)
1-2 years leadership experience
Deep knowledge of mortgage products and non-conforming credit guidelines
Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Expert level knowledge of credit/underwriting guidelines
Established track record of developing and maintaining High Net Worth relationships
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Extensive knowledge of the laws and regulation that govern consumer lending
Eligible for employment with an FDIC-insured institution and able to register with NMLS as a mortgage loan originator
