About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, create and implement sales and marketing strategies, tactics and initiatives within their designated markets, to increase product awareness, engagement and penetration to achieve stated goals and objectives.
- Lead/partner with Region Manager (RM) and Market Managers (MM) to proactively drive key sales and marketing priorities to achieve defined business objectives and targets.
- Identify and execute immediate action plans for underperforming markets; overseeing weekly progress towards plan
- Develop strong partnerships with WM field management (Market Executives, Market Managers, BDMs, etc) to co-own and deliver private banking strategies.
- Partner with RM to lead ongoing MM/Banker talent/performance assessments and centralize/oversee regional recruiting process to identify, source and establish contact with potential candidates.
- Partner with COO Learning & Development Team to prioritize & deploy training programs for each job family
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance procedures.
- Member of MSPBNA Sales Management team.
- Participate in business planning and strategy for Sales.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 10 years of successful business development experience in lending, deposit and cash management products with an investment, commercial or private bank
- Minimum of 5 years managing a business development team within an investment, commercial or private bank is preferred
- Proven new business development / origination experience with Lending products
- Experience in understanding the financial needs of all types of clients
- Completion of formal credit training strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree
