About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join the Product Origination and Development team within Alternative Investments
- Focus on onboarding and maintaining alternative investment offerings
- Partner closely with fund managers, MSWM Advisors, MSWM Field Management, and other Morgan Stanley stakeholders
- Support analytical projects for the Alternative Investments organization
- Work cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing, Global Investment Manager Analysis, Legal, Operations, and Finance
- Support investment product launches—executing placement agreements, tailoring offering and marketing materials, and presenting to Product Committees
- Help enhance and maintain key metrics and reporting to enable management to monitor business health and identify new opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of financial services industry experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; detail oriented
- Ability to manage and complete multiple and simultaneous projects with tight deadlines
- Ability to understand, implement, monitor and improve upon key financial and business metrics
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills; ability to work effectively in senior management settings
- Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
