About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop robust, scalable C++ applications for mission-critical trade processing
- Work closely with users and engineering teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions
- Build and maintain efficient, resilient platforms supporting the full trade lifecycle
- Integrate systems and enable reliable data exchange across distributed environments
- Partner with teams across engineering, operations, and production management to support live systems and resolve issues
- Ensure systems scale to meet growing business volumes and performance demands
- Contribute across the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, review, and production support
- Use modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development and testing tools, to improve productivity and code quality.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of strong C++ development experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and shell scripting
- Experience building and supporting real-time, multi-threaded, mission-critical systems
- Knowledge of application server development, data processing, systems integration, and distributed architectures
- Experience with messaging, pub/sub, or market data distribution platforms
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience using AI tools or AI agents across the software development lifecycle
- Knowledge of Fixed Income products, trading systems, and networking is a plus.
