About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop robust, scalable C++ applications for mission-critical trade processing
Work closely with users and engineering teams to gather requirements and define technical solutions
Build and maintain efficient, resilient platforms supporting the full trade lifecycle
Integrate systems and enable reliable data exchange across distributed environments
Partner with teams across engineering, operations, and production management to support live systems and resolve issues
Ensure systems scale to meet growing business volumes and performance demands
Contribute across the development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, review, and production support
Use modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development and testing tools, to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of strong C++ development experience
Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix/Linux environments, and shell scripting
Experience building and supporting real-time, multi-threaded, mission-critical systems
Knowledge of application server development, data processing, systems integration, and distributed architectures
Experience with messaging, pub/sub, or market data distribution platforms
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience using AI tools or AI agents across the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of Fixed Income products, trading systems, and networking is a plus.
