About the role

  • Develop and implement governance structures and processes to support effective decision-making, risk management and alignment with organizational goals
  • Facilitate monthly delivery review meeting, driving discussions on portfolio performance, resource allocation and strategic alignment
  • Partner with stakeholders to define portfolio structure standards and metrics to ensure consistency and accountability
  • Oversee and monitor portfolio compliance policies, ensuring alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements
  • Establish strategic project onboarding and off-boarding frameworks and checklists to guide project teams and ensure compliance with policies and processes
  • Establish and maintain reporting frameworks that provide transparency on portfolio health, dependencies, outcomes, and compliance
  • Partner with the development team to lead and maintain the creation of portfolio / program / project reports and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders
  • Manage the end-to-end reporting process, including data gathering, analysis and visualization, ensuring accuracy and relevance
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of governance and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the portfolio's impact
  • Lead initiatives to optimize data quality, reporting tools and governance frameworks in alignment with industry best practices

Requirements

  • Proven work experience (8+ years) in portfolio governance, program management or reporting roles within a complex, multi-project environment
  • Strong understanding of governance frameworks, reporting standards and risk management practices
  • Experience in managing teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead process improvements
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking
  • Ability to perform in high pressure, fast paced situations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
  • Creative thinker who will take complete ownership and accountability
  • Excellent in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with Jira and AI tooling is desirable
  • Technology and Financial Services background (desired)
