About the role
- Develop and implement governance structures and processes to support effective decision-making, risk management and alignment with organizational goals
- Facilitate monthly delivery review meeting, driving discussions on portfolio performance, resource allocation and strategic alignment
- Partner with stakeholders to define portfolio structure standards and metrics to ensure consistency and accountability
- Oversee and monitor portfolio compliance policies, ensuring alignment with internal controls and regulatory requirements
- Establish strategic project onboarding and off-boarding frameworks and checklists to guide project teams and ensure compliance with policies and processes
- Establish and maintain reporting frameworks that provide transparency on portfolio health, dependencies, outcomes, and compliance
- Partner with the development team to lead and maintain the creation of portfolio / program / project reports and dashboards for senior management and key stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end reporting process, including data gathering, analysis and visualization, ensuring accuracy and relevance
- Evaluate the effectiveness of governance and reporting processes, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and enhance the portfolio's impact
- Lead initiatives to optimize data quality, reporting tools and governance frameworks in alignment with industry best practices
Requirements
- Proven work experience (8+ years) in portfolio governance, program management or reporting roles within a complex, multi-project environment
- Strong understanding of governance frameworks, reporting standards and risk management practices
- Experience in managing teams
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and lead process improvements
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Demonstrate strategic thinking
- Ability to perform in high pressure, fast paced situations
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
- Creative thinker who will take complete ownership and accountability
- Excellent in Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience with Jira and AI tooling is desirable
- Technology and Financial Services background (desired)
