About the role

  • Develop a specialized knowledge of all relevant Parametric products for use in supporting investment team members in advanced quantitative custom projects.
  • Support team quantitative investment process by collecting, cleaning, processing and analyzing large datasets.
  • Provide research presentations and/or develop content for peer review and knowledge-sharing based on completed projects or thought-leadership research.
  • Provide thoughtful feedback and assistance to other members of the team.
  • Lead and/or participate in process improvement and technology development efforts.
  • Prepare quantitative analyses for prospects and clients, and to help guide portfolio decisions by analyzing portfolio risk exposures, assessing drivers of portfolio performance, and researching market conditions.
  • Develop and maintain line-of business applications, working with key investment staff to understand requirements.
  • Provide creative solutions to complex business problems leveraging technology
  • Drive other projects with supervision and support from the team, as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant quantitative field of study required
  • Demonstrated interest in investments and quantitative investment research, and a strong desire to advance learning in programming is required
  • Ability to concisely communicate quantitative concepts and write well documented code
  • Strong math/quantitative skills and analytical writing ability
  • Ability to work in an agile environment with rapid iteration
  • Strong team player who works well with developers, researchers, and other colleagues
  • Any combination of the following technology experience - gained through internships or education - is a plus: Python, R, C# or other object-orientated programming
  • SQL Server, MySql, or other database
  • NLP, Machine Learning, or AI
