• Responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational delivery of fire alarm maintenance and remedial services in line with BS 5839-1:2025.
• Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), addressing backlogs, allocating reactive works.
• Ensuring remedial actions are completed efficiently.
• Overseeing the execution of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, ensuring timely delivery and high completion rates.
• Proactively reviewing and managing service backlogs, prioritising safety-critical tasks.
• Allocating and monitoring reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Managing the full lifecycle of remedial works, including scoping, scheduling, execution, and post-completion follow-up.
• Providing line management to Service Desk and Engineering Team Leaders.
• Leading regular team meetings and conducting structured performance reviews to drive accountability and development.
• Identifying skill gaps and training needs.

Fire Alarm Service Manager

Engineer

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on fire detection systems at customer sites, ensuring they are kept in good working order and in accordance with current regulations and standards.
• Maintain, service, and commission fire alarm and emergency lighting systems across a variety of platforms and customer sites.
• Undertake fire alarm installations in line with industry standards and company requirements.
• Commission fire alarm systems, with a focus on Advanced and Kentec panels.
• Plan, coordinate, and deliver routine maintenance visits and reactive call-outs within your designated area.
• Interpret and apply technical drawings and wiring diagrams with accuracy and efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve system faults through effective fault-finding and problem-solving.
• Lead and oversee small to medium-scale installation projects, providing guidance and support to the installation team to ensure quality and timely delivery.
