About the role
- Own the product definition and evolution of products supporting data center and infrastructure connectivity use cases.
- Translate customer, partner, and internal needs into clear product requirements, workflows, and roadmaps.
- Define product requirements related to capacity, latency, availability, redundancy, scalability, and operational constraints.
- Partner closely with engineering to balance technical feasibility, product performance, and deployment realities.
- Define and track key product metrics related to performance, availability, adoption, and operational effectiveness.
- Incorporate learnings from deployments and live environments into ongoing iteration and continuous improvement. Taara’s data center and infrastructure products meet enterprise expectations for availability, performance, and scalability.
- Product requirements are clear and actionable, enabling engineering teams to build with confidence and minimal rework.
- Deployments integrate smoothly into existing data center and network environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management for infrastructure, networking, or technical systems.
- 2+ years in data center environment
- 1+ years of experience building 0-1 products
- Experience translating complex technical needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
- Understanding connectivity needs within data center environments, network infrastructure, or large-scale technical systems.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, UX design, and customer-facing teams.
- Experience using data, operational signals, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain product decisions to diverse stakeholders.
- Background in networking, telecom, cloud infrastructure, or related domain a plus.
- Comfort operating in technically complex, ambiguous environments.
- Ability to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.
