Define product requirements related to capacity, latency, availability, redundancy, scalability, and operational constraints.
Partner closely with engineering to balance technical feasibility, product performance, and deployment realities.
Define and track key product metrics related to performance, availability, adoption, and operational effectiveness.
Incorporate learnings from deployments and live environments into ongoing iteration and continuous improvement. Taara’s data center and infrastructure products meet enterprise expectations for availability, performance, and scalability.
Product requirements are clear and actionable, enabling engineering teams to build with confidence and minimal rework.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in product management for infrastructure, networking, or technical systems.
2+ years in data center environment
1+ years of experience building 0-1 products
Experience translating complex technical needs into clear product requirements and priorities.
Understanding connectivity needs within data center environments, network infrastructure, or large-scale technical systems.
Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, UX design, and customer-facing teams.
Experience using data, operational signals, and user feedback to inform product decisions.
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain product decisions to diverse stakeholders.
Background in networking, telecom, cloud infrastructure, or related domain a plus.
Comfort operating in technically complex, ambiguous environments.
Ability to work in the Sunnyvale office at least 3 days per week.
