About the role

  • Design and develop clear, engaging lessons with step-by-step instructions on Excel for Accounting concepts (e.g., financial statements, budgeting, balance sheets, data analysis, and formula applications).
  • Create concise, easy-to-follow video demonstrations guiding learners through Excel accounting tasks in Microsoft 365.
  • Capture high-quality screenshots that visually support lessons and assignments, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Work closely with the curriculum team to ensure lessons meet instructional standards, align with course goals, and reflect real-world accounting practices.

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in Excel for Accounting, including formulas, PivotTables, financial functions, data validation, and charting tools relevant to accounting workflows.
  • Background in curriculum design, instructional content development, or teaching accounting or business courses at the K12 or college level.
  • Ability to produce clear, pedagogically sound instructional content, including scripts, exercises, screenshots, and videos.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and content development.
  • Exceptional accuracy in numerical data, spreadsheet presentation, and instructional materials.
