About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the roadmap for authentication and identity verification, prioritizing conversion, fraud/risk reduction, and regulatory requirements
- Drive improvements to onboarding funnels, reducing drop-off in document capture and verification while maintaining or improving fraud and conversion rates
- Manage and evaluate third-party KYC/IDV vendor relationships, including performance, cost, and regional coverage
- Partner with Compliance and Legal to translate regulatory requirements into product specifications and rollout plans
- Work with Engineering to ship authentication-flow changes without introducing account-takeover or fraud exposure
- Define and track funnel metrics
- Represent Identity in cross-functional planning with Risk, Fraud, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders
- Collaborate with the Identity team, Compliance, Risk/Fraud, Legal, Engineering, and third-party identity verification vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of product management experience
- Meaningful experience with identity verification, KYC/AML, fraud, or authentication/security products
- Working familiarity with KYC/AML concepts and authentication concepts
- Experience managing or evaluating third-party identity/KYC vendors
- Comfort operating in a regulated, multi-region environment where features behave differently by jurisdiction
- Background in fintech, crypto, or another regulated marketplace (nice to have)
- Experience with sanctions screening, PEP/adverse media checks, or transaction monitoring (nice to have)
- Experience with crypto-native authentication, such as wallet-based sign-in or Sign-In with Ethereum (bonus)
- Experience with crypto compliance requirements (bonus)
