About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee product management across four product development teams working across two technology platforms
- Responsible for Order Fulfilment Network, Manufacturing and Shipping, as well as Customer Service domains
- Handle product onboarding, coordination with third party vendors and product launches
- Support internal manufacturing team for the evolution of in house fulfilment and manufacturing systems
- Lead Manufacturing and Shipping team focusing on cost reduction across postage, labour and materials
- Create alignment with Head of Product for eCommerce on customer experience and product launches
- Accountable for successful execution of product launches
- Ensure integration and alignment of product data via Product Information Management system
- Drive transition from legacy to new platforms
- Enhance operational processes and reduce costs in shipping and product launch procedures
- Implement product development strategies including drop shipping globally
- Work closely with business teams to ensure fast, repeatable and self serve product launches
- Coordinate with technology teams to align product development with company goals
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in product management, particularly in a technology driven e commerce environment
- Experience working in a role where your customers are internal stakeholders
- Experienced line manager of Product Managers, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and mentor teams
- Deep understanding of operational processes, particularly in manufacturing, shipping, fulfilment or supply chain
- Experience in managing product launches and driving operational cost reductions
- Excellent communication, collaboration and facilitation skills
- Ability to balance tactical execution with strategic thinking
