Creating and editing spatial data and mapping products and performing geospatial analyses in support of our service lines and key areas of work
Supporting regulatory approval and compliance across a variety of sectors
Generating, editing, and maintaining relational geospatial databases
Assist in updating and maintaining mapping standards and work processes
Supporting the creation and editing of mapping products in the AutoCAD environment (workload dependent)
At times, supporting field activities as a field second (workload dependent)
Requirements
Possess an undergraduate degree in a related discipline or technical diploma
1-7 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop software suite and extensions
Experience with ArcGIS Pro
An ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, regulations, drawings and job specifications
Have a keen eye for cartographic design and the capability to produce high quality cartographic products
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work well in a team atmosphere
Experience in the following would be considered an asset: Setting up ESRI Field Maps and Survey 123 data collection services, ESRI Enterprise Geodatabases, ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise (Portal) / Online, FME or ESRI model builder, Acquiring or processing UAV imagery, Working on pipeline projects, AutoCAD Map or Civil 3D, GIS Programming experience using technology such as Python, JavaScript, C#, SQL, and related skills, Field experience (along with applicable certifications), Experience in a similar role, Experience in project planning and coordination
