Head of Real Estate

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Global Strategy and P&L Ownership: Define and drive the multi-year physical infrastructure and real estate strategy, ensuring alignment with Perimeter's rapid global expansion goals and financial targets.
- Site Deployment and Qualification: Direct end-to-end site acquisition, qualification, and build-out, turning Letters of Intent into fully operational compute nodes with maximum speed and efficiency.
- Strategic Partnership and Maintenance Leadership: Build, manage, and scale the ecosystem of mission-critical partnerships including high-level relationships with building owners and operators, as well as the critical network of technicians and contractors required for national build-out and ongoing maintenance.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Founder-Level Strategic Leadership: Proven ability to define and execute a complex, high-growth global infrastructure strategy and manage a multi-million-dollar P&L.
- National Scale Deployment Experience: Decades of project experience leading major building or infrastructure projects, preferably across multiple US metros, with a background in real estate development, building operations, or complex infrastructure deployment.
- Technical Authority and Execution: Deep technical legitimacy across real estate,sustainability, MEP, energy systems and energy efficiency. Can not only work credibly with owners but also direct and oversee specialized technicians and contractors during complex build-outs and critical maintenance.
- Established Commercial Network: An existing, scalable network across the CRE ecosystem (owners, brokers, operators, facilities teams) in NYC and a clear plan for rapidly building similar networks in new expansion markets.
- Full-Stack Real Estate Acumen: Mastery in assessing commercial properties, understanding building constraints, infrastructure gaps, and accurately estimating full lifecycle cost and timing implications for both qualification and long-term maintenance.
- Relationship and Deal Instincts: Exceptional relationship instincts to open high-level doors, build immediate trust with key partners, and navigate commercial negotiations and deployment issues to accelerate company growth.
