HRIS/Workday Analyst

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Reporting to the Director, Workday Architect, the HRIS Analyst will play an important role as a subject matter expert for Workday, with a focus on HCM and Reporting.
- In conjunction with the HRIS team, this position will be responsible for Workday support on People functions: Configuration, maintenance and optimization, ensuring data integrity, system efficiency, and alignment with business objectives.
- Assist with the design, build, and rollout of new People technology solutions that support a growing and global workforce.
- Translate business needs into system requirements and deliver clean, scalable solutions that improve how we work.
- Configure Workday modules, including HCM and Compensation and Reporting and manage business processes to match company policies.
- Design, develop, and test standard and custom reports, dashboards and hubs in Workday across various modules, to provide actionable data insights.
- Conduct regular system audits, perform data analysis and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information.
- Act as the main point of contact for Workday helpdesk tickets. Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Develop and deliver job aids and training to end-users on Workday functionalities and best practices.
- Stay current with Workday releases and new features, assessing their applicability and implementing relevant enhancements.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports to HR leadership and other stakeholders.
- Assist with other HRIS projects as needed.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Workday reporting tools such as Advanced Reporting, Matrix Reporting, Composite Reports, calculated fields, and EIB’s.
- Proven experience with HR or Finance business processes.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service focus with a high sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Understanding of general People and system processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with other Workday modules such as Learning, Talent, Payroll, Time Tracking, EIBs and integrations is highly preferred.
- Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM or Reporting) are highly desirable.
