About the role
- Develop, implement, deploy, and maintain identity and access management solutions and systems
- Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access management related issues
- Improve identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats and efficiency
- Contribute to the strategy and approach to accelerate and optimize the onboarding, moving, and leaving processes
- Facilitate the implementation of new features on the identity platform
- Participate as a member of and lead cross-functional development teams; set team strategy and represent team to senior management and client/customers
- Perform analysis of cross-functional and complex business requirements and design complex cross-functional solutions
- Provide mentoring and guidance; consult with team members and other organizations, customers, and vendors on complex issues
- Design, prepare, and execute improvements and validations; develop innovative multi-team solutions to complex problems
Requirements
- Experienced IAM (Identity & Asset Management) Engineer
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with authentication standards and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID/OIDC
- Experience in the design, deployment, and maintenance of Secrets Management (Vault), PKI, GPG, and KMS solutions
- Hands-on knowledge of identity and access management best practices, procedures, and software solutions such as Okta, Univention, FreeIPA, Zitadel, authentik
- Experience with single sign-on (SSO), two-factor authentication, privileged access management, and the zero-trust security model
- Experience in standard methodologies regarding DevOps application implementations and deployment, including design patterns, release management, testing and deployment strategies
- Strong Customer/ Vendor Management
- Scripting/development knowledge (Bash, Python, Go, or another modern language)
- Experience with Windows, Linux and Unix-like operating systems
- Experience with IaC/GitOps practices
