About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for driving all design-in activity and wins within assigned accounts.
  • Exceed assigned revenue targets consistently.
  • Indirect management of Manufacturers Representatives and channel partners.
  • Work closely with product division marketing and engineering to identify market trends and customer requirements.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of target customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Technical ability to understand entire MPS product portfolio and market strategy.
  • Good people and analytical skills to manage sales personnel.
  • Ability to grow management level and design engineering relationships.
  • Must be able to interface with MPS executive staff and product divisions.
  • Good presentation skills to all levels of personnel.
  • Self-motivated individual sales contributor with a technical degree, preferably in engineering, or a proven track record in selling electronic components.
  • Consideration for experienced field applications or design engineer willing to move to sales.
