About the role
- Conduct callover and vouching of transaction tickets against financial records.
- Conduct internal control vouching and testing of income and expense lines.
- Conduct internal control vouching on assigned asset classes and liability heads.
- Conduct daily control of pre-approved journal entries and monitor GL.
- Vouch and validate assigned month-end reports.
- Vouch cash management and bank reconciliation process.
- Carry out any other assigned tasks to improve treasury and finance operations.
Requirements
- Foundational or basic understanding risk management process.
- Basic or appreciable knowledge of financial reporting principles.
- Vouching ability to validate data accuracy, completeness.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance or a related field.
- Student membership of ICAN, ACCA, CISA or others related certification.
- 0 to 1 years experience with basic understanding of accounting process.
