About the role

  • Triage inbound warm inquiries to MongoDB and qualify them for the sales team or redirect to proper support channels
  • Respond to inbound inquiries via website chat, phone, and contact us forms
  • Serve as the first point of contact, uncovering and qualifying new opportunities and establishing support needs
  • Collaborate with marketing and marketing ops to ensure timely and effective follow up to inbound leads
  • Generate pipeline quickly and effectively through discovery and qualification
  • Deliver meaningful outreach sequences to establish contact and follow up with multiple stakeholders
  • Understand multiple business units to redirect queries in a customer-centric manner
  • Contribute to the wider Inbound Strategy through continuous feedback and suggesting solutions to improve customer experience

Requirements

  • Self-motivated with a team player mentality
  • Previous experience in a chat support or online customer interaction environment preferable
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written skills (English); additional language proficiency is a plus
  • Strong process mindset and organization skills
  • Strong attention to detail and time management
  • Strong communication skills dealing with high volume of leads and following up with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficiency in using chat platforms, CRM systems, and other relevant software applications is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing customer needs and priorities
  • Expectation to contribute to the wider Inbound Strategy through continuous feedback and suggesting solutions
  • A self-starter with a track record of hitting and exceeding goals
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced and high growth environment
  • Passionate about cutting-edge technology with aptitude to learn new IT software products quickly
  • Strong and progressive academic background (Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree) preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles in target-driven environments preferred
  • Familiarity with database, web server, and open source technology preferred
  • Working experience with Salesforce.com preferred
