About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support finance workstreams related to the stand-up of the U.S. Bank
  • Assist in developing accounting policies, procedures, and controls
  • Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology teams
  • Support data validation, testing, and documentation for new financial systems
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and help design scalable finance processes
  • Support the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
  • Assist with regulatory reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, Co-pilot)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
