About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support finance workstreams related to the stand-up of the U.S. Bank
Assist in developing accounting policies, procedures, and controls
Partner cross-functionally with Risk, Treasury, Operations, and Technology teams
Support data validation, testing, and documentation for new financial systems
Identify process improvement opportunities and help design scalable finance processes
Support the month-end close process including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
Assist with regulatory reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or financial analysis
Strong understanding of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft (Excel, Word, PPT, Teams, Co-pilot)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and drive outcomes
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proactive, self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset
