About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
- Support Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise application hosting platforms
- Troubleshoot production Windows Server environments to ensure stability, performance, and availability
- Support Microsoft clustering, SQL Server high-availability systems, and platform lifecycle activities
- Manage SCCM-based patching, deployments, and ongoing server maintenance activities
- Support VMware environments used to deploy and operate Windows Server workloads
- Develop PowerShell automation and collaborate on configuration management initiatives
- Maintain operational documentation and participate in rotational on-call support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5+ years of experience in systems infrastructure administration and support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency administering Windows Server environments supporting enterprise or production workloads
- Strong experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
- Hands-on experience with SCCM for patching, deployments, and system management
- Experience administering VMware-based Windows Server environments
- Experience supporting PowerShell scripting, automation, and clustered or high-availability Windows platforms
- Exposure to Azure or hybrid cloud environments (preferred)
- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools (preferred)
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation practices (preferred)
- Familiarity with PCI DSS, CIS benchmarks, or enterprise production environments (preferred)
