About the role

  • Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process
  • Lead technical discussions and prospect solution design sessions
  • Design and architect complex solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Drive product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
  • Mentor junior team members
  • Contribute to the development of sales strategies and product roadmaps
  • Partner with sales personnel, execute MEDDPICC based sales practices, effective POV execution, and CRM hygiene
  • Receive quotas and commissions against new revenue, including recurring revenue from new logos, customer expansions, and services revenue

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting (Pre-Sales) experience, preferably a bulk of those years in cybersecurity
  • Deep understanding of the needs and drivers of security teams
  • Proven track record of performance and building strong client relationships
  • Strong awareness of security market trends and competitive landscape
  • Experienced in MEDDPICC and value-based selling to medium to large enterprises
  • Familiarity with data-driven sales processes and fast/complex sales cycles
  • Solid technical knowledge across Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, macOS; Cloud Platforms: VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes; DevOps Tools: Ansible, Terraform
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and adapting to change
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively while wearing “multiple hats”
