About the role
- Work closely with the sales team to provide technical expertise and support during the sales process
- Lead technical discussions and prospect solution design sessions
- Design and architect complex solutions to meet customer requirements
- Drive product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts
- Mentor junior team members
- Contribute to the development of sales strategies and product roadmaps
- Partner with sales personnel, execute MEDDPICC based sales practices, effective POV execution, and CRM hygiene
- Receive quotas and commissions against new revenue, including recurring revenue from new logos, customer expansions, and services revenue
Requirements
- 7+ years of Sales Engineering or Technical Consulting (Pre-Sales) experience, preferably a bulk of those years in cybersecurity
- Deep understanding of the needs and drivers of security teams
- Proven track record of performance and building strong client relationships
- Strong awareness of security market trends and competitive landscape
- Experienced in MEDDPICC and value-based selling to medium to large enterprises
- Familiarity with data-driven sales processes and fast/complex sales cycles
- Solid technical knowledge across Operating Systems: Linux, Windows, macOS; Cloud Platforms: VMware, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes; DevOps Tools: Ansible, Terraform
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments and adapting to change
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively while wearing “multiple hats”
