About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, pursue, and secure new business and partnership opportunities across the EU & MEA through proactive prospecting, negotiation, and commercial deal closure.
- Lead outreach and first-line engagement with prospective partners - primarily OTT Apps - through to effective deal closing.
- Effectively present and pitch Mondia's solutions and value proposition to prospect partners, demonstrating commercial benefits that will drive the partnership and ensure deal closure.
- Define objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and partnership goals for the region.
- Own revenue and partnership P&L targets, including regular forecasting and revenue management (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
- Lead complex, high-value negotiations and govern commercial agreements and contract terms through to signature.
- Develop and cultivate deep relationships with partner senior management at Business Unit Head and to upsell new solutions and secure better revenue/margin outcomes.
- Build and manage relationships, representing Mondia at industry and executive level across the region.
- Identify and track trends within partner organizations, the wider industry, and the competitive landscape to inform positioning and partner sourcing strategy.
- Work closely with TAM, Marketing, Product, and Innovation teams to shape differentiated, profitable solutions for partners and Mondia.
- Analyze pipeline and portfolio performance, translating insights into strategic recommendations that connect sourcing activity to broader business impact.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, ideally within a technology, content, or information services provider, ideally with a proven track record of headhunting and sourcing new business from scratch.
- Demonstrated success building a pipeline and closing high-value deals with international mobile operators, with a strong foothold in the Eastern Europe and MEA markets.
- Track record owning revenue targets and P&L, including forecasting and revenue planning at director or senior level.
- Experience developing and cultivating senior executive relationships.
- Excellent knowledge of digital brands, OTTs, mobile payments, and marketing practices and strategies.
