About the role

  • Managing the full employee life cycle and delivering across all areas of HR, enabling local management to build a high-performance culture
  • Leading the local recruitment as well as onboarding to attract and retain top talent
  • Working closely with payroll to ensure an accurate payroll process
  • Establishing and driving effective performance management, reward, and recognition strategies
  • Driving organizational change, people development, career development, and compensation processes to support attraction and retention
  • Continuously partnering with business stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of people's needs and meet competitive goals and expectations
  • Leading development and implementation of objectives and initiatives locally aligned with Group strategy to offer best-in-class HR service delivery
  • Effectively partnering with Senior Management team members and other Group stakeholders to design, refine, and implement innovative people strategies/solutions
  • Ensuring compliance with local labour laws and managing sensitive/highly confidential information with discretion
  • Acting as an ambassador for the organisation’s values; leading culture and organisational transformation and applying change management strategies where required
  • Self-led learning to keep abreast of international best practices and ensuring consistency to group policy where local labour law doesn't supersede
  • Identifying insights and factors that may impact the business and improving/automating current practices to ensure continual improvement

Requirements

  • Proven track record operating in a busy HR / People function across multiple areas of HR (i.e. Employee Relations, Engagement, L&D, Talent Acquisition etc.)
  • Agile, flexible and responsive approach to work
  • High focus on achievement and results delivery
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills with the ability to engage and motivate others
  • Persuasive communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to convince, influence and persuasively articulate a value proposition
  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution and a client-centric approach to solution-selling
  • A proven track record of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and execution
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and great attention to detail; able to provide meaningful reporting and narrative on market insights
  • Extensive knowledge of HR policies and systems and local Labour Law
  • Previous experience within a tech environment, startup, rapidly-scaling business and/or in a matrix organizational structure would be a distinct advantage
  • At least 5 years' experience in the field of Human Resources or a comparable role
