About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop professional relationships with customers and optimize base sales, NPD, and promotions
- Ensure strong visibility in retailers and delivery of sales capabilities
- Ensure maximum visual impact and optimum shelf availability through merchandising techniques
- Implement and monitor promotional activities
- Place and implement point-of-buying materials
- Report on activities
- Ensure the sales force executes business development programs and actions aligned with objectives
- Manage customer portfolio KPIs, including sell-in, sell-out, coverage, effectiveness, placement, brand tracking, channel development, perfect store, and displays
- Analyze the market and competition to identify growth opportunities and sales-service improvements
- Follow up and control the distributor's logistics area
- Train and follow up with assigned teams
- Manage daily sales tracking reports and generate critical decision-making reports
- Negotiate monthly sales and purchase volumes and indicators with the distributor
- Propose Route to Market changes required for continued growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation processes
- Strong analytical skills
- Sales experience required, preferably FMCG/CPG
- Perseverance and attention to detail
- Professional degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
- English language is a plus
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI skills
- At least two years of experience in multinational companies or traditional-channel businesses
- Strategic, organizational, communication, decision-making, customer negotiation, active listening, credibility, trust, and team-management skills
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to work in Peru; no relocation support available
