About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop professional relationships with customers and optimize base sales, NPD, and promotions
  • Ensure strong visibility in retailers and delivery of sales capabilities
  • Ensure maximum visual impact and optimum shelf availability through merchandising techniques
  • Implement and monitor promotional activities
  • Place and implement point-of-buying materials
  • Report on activities
  • Ensure the sales force executes business development programs and actions aligned with objectives
  • Manage customer portfolio KPIs, including sell-in, sell-out, coverage, effectiveness, placement, brand tracking, channel development, perfect store, and displays
  • Analyze the market and competition to identify growth opportunities and sales-service improvements
  • Follow up and control the distributor's logistics area
  • Train and follow up with assigned teams
  • Manage daily sales tracking reports and generate critical decision-making reports
  • Negotiate monthly sales and purchase volumes and indicators with the distributor
  • Propose Route to Market changes required for continued growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid knowledge of sales and negotiation processes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Sales experience required, preferably FMCG/CPG
  • Perseverance and attention to detail
  • Professional degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields
  • English language is a plus
  • Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Office, Excel, and Power BI skills
  • At least two years of experience in multinational companies or traditional-channel businesses
  • Strategic, organizational, communication, decision-making, customer negotiation, active listening, credibility, trust, and team-management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work in Peru; no relocation support available
