About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Fulfill the merchandising needs of customers through communication & relationship building
- Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
- Become an ambassador of brands like Oreo, Ritz, and Chips Ahoy
- Work closely with sales representatives to optimize visibility of products
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps
- Order product for shelf and display
- Ensure leading brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained
- Communicate any issues with Mondelēz’ management team
- Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager
- Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches
- Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz
Requirements
What you’ll need- Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Positive and professional attitude
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
- Ability to perform physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
- Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Clinton, MS)
