About the role

  • Fulfill merchandising needs of customers through communication and relationship building
  • Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
  • Represent Mondelēz brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, etc.) in stores
  • Work closely with sales representative to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays
  • Carry out in-store visits following Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays
  • Order product via iPad Tablet for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
  • Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are being followed and communicate issues to management
  • Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager for efficient in-store service
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and support new product launches
  • Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proof of auto insurance
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
  • Occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
  • Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus
  • Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Lexington, KY). Secondary locations: Versailles, KY, and Winchester, KY
  • Schedule availability required: Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday; Start time: 7:00 am
  • Comfortable using iPad/Tablet to order product and capture pictures of displays
