About the role

  • Fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building with store employees
  • Stock store shelves and maintain or change out promotional displays
  • Represent Mondelēz/Nabisco brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, etc.) in-store
  • Work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays
  • Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays
  • Order product via iPad/Tablet for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
  • Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and report issues to management
  • Follow daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient in-store service
  • Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and support new product launches
  • Demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
  • Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
  • Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Upper Marlboro, MD; secondary Brandywine, MD)
  • Schedule availability required: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri
  • Ability to use an iPad/Tablet to order product and capture photos of displays
