About the role
- Fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building with store employees
- Stock store shelves and maintain or change out promotional displays
- Represent Mondelēz/Nabisco brands (Oreo, Ritz, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Triscuit, etc.) in-store
- Work closely with sales representatives to optimize product visibility and construct promotional displays
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz’ DSD Merchandising Steps, including capturing pictures of displays
- Order product via iPad/Tablet for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
- Ensure Sales Representative’s negotiated plans with store managers are followed and report issues to management
- Follow daily schedule set by the merchandising manager for efficient in-store service
- Enhance seasonal sales, seasonal displays, and support new product launches
- Demonstrate a positive, upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed)
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs; occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
- Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location (Upper Marlboro, MD; secondary Brandywine, MD)
- Schedule availability required: Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri
- Ability to use an iPad/Tablet to order product and capture photos of displays
