About the role
- Fulfill merchandising needs through communication and relationship building with stores
- Stock store shelves and maintain or change out displays
- Represent Mondelēz brands in front of in-store employees and work with sales representatives
- Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelēz DSD Merchandising Steps and capture pictures of displays
- Order product via iPad tablet for shelf and display to ensure in-stock conditions
- Ensure brand visibility and implement Mondelēz guidelines for displays
- Ensure sales representative plans with store managers are followed and communicate issues
- Follow daily schedule set by merchandising manager for efficient in-store service
- Enhance seasonal sales, displays, and new product launches
- Demonstrate positive and upbeat attitude while representing Mondelēz in store
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Positive and professional attitude
- Ability to drive personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage reimbursed)
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs
- Occasionally pushing and pulling over 50 lbs
- Ability to move products from stock rooms to store floor and stock shelves
- Previous retail/grocery experience is a plus
- Live within 25-35 miles of the primary location (Lakewood, CA)
- Open availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to use tablet (iPad) to place orders and capture display photos
