Developer, Process Development – Engineering

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and implement projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements
- Conduct activities to generate the appropriate process information, using modelling, simulations, and pilot plant and plant trials
- Plan and conduct process development activities including process design and specifications, process scale-up and commissioning, technical risk assessments
- Create and maintain accurate consumer centric process specifications.
- Assist in planning the effective use of resources, including the use of external agencies, and manage stakeholders
- Create intellectual property to drive competitive advantage
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years' experience working within an RDQ environment within the food industry
- Experience within confectionery or bakery categories is an advantage
- Good understanding of RDQ product and process specifications
- Good knowledge of chocolate category regarding raw materials, processing, manufacturing and formulation fundamentals is an advantage
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Technical curiosity, continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigor
