About the role
- Support the National Account Manager, Broadline Distributors by providing analytical and reporting support.
- Generate and maintain routine and ad-hoc performance reports using distributor business intelligence platforms to track sales, distribution, and program compliance.
- Assist in tracking and analyzing trade investment and program accruals.
- Manage and update key business data within internal systems and maintain accuracy.
- Prepare data-driven content, slides, and compelling selling stories for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
- Serve as a key analytical resource for customer service-related issues.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to investigate service-related problems and propose effective solutions.
- Clearly communicate complex findings and resolution statuses to internal stakeholders and distributor contacts.
- Provide analytical, data-gathering, and reporting support to other non-commercial team members as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical, business intelligence, finance, or sales role, preferably within the CPG, Foodservice, or Broadline Distribution industry.
- Demonstrated strong analytical background with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including complex formulas (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, INDEX/MATCH), data modeling, and visualization for generating actionable reports.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) and business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex data insights simply and effectively.
- Experience and comfort addressing customer service-related issues or internal requests by performing detailed analysis, escalating appropriately, and communicating resolutions clearly.
- Ability to travel 10% to 20% to distributor headquarters, internal business planning sessions, or regional offices as required.
