About the role
- The Key Account Manager manages all retail accounts with less than 100 stores across the Natural and Conventional channels
- Facilitates relationships with broker partners and merchandisers
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain a forecast for new item launches and promotional periods
- Participate in category reviews and drive results through analysis and relationship building
Requirements
- Manage and expand independent business: Develop AMPPS strategy (merchandising, assortment, pricing, promotion, shelving)
- Category review presentation preparation – pulling data, PowerPoint building, SKU rationalization, shelf placement analysis, promotional frequency
- Promotional planning – trade calculations, margin calculations, calendar creation
- Track performance, ensure proper ordering cadence, execute Hu strategy and priorities
- Develop strong relationships with brokers to ensure independent retailers have promotional plans
- Work closely with direct alternative channel accounts to ensure business needs are met
- Work with the Trade team on quarterly Modus reviews
- Inputs / Promo notification SPINS/Nielsen: Run and analyze reports
- Distributor Portals: UNFI Insights, Crisp, KeHE Connect
