• Consulting with the employer and identifying employment needs.
• Handles the day-to-day operations of HR functions, including recruiting.
• Interviewing potential applicants regarding their skills, experience, and education.
• Contacting references and performing background checks on applicants.
• Provide onboarding support for new hires and often work alongside other teams, including recruitment.
• Informing applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties.
• Conducting or helping with new employee orientation.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.
• Keeping process paperwork and employment records.
• Assist with company events, coordinating with vendors.
• Sending important communications to the company.
• Handle employment-related inquiries from employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR contact.
• Special Projects: deliver HR initiatives through completion and create reporting to track progress.
• Other duties as assigned.
