About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult services to IBD inpatients under gastroenterology or colorectal units
  • Attendance at outpatient clinics weekly
  • Attendance at a weekly endoscopy list focussed on IBD and dysplasia
  • Review of patients receiving biologics in the infusion centre
  • Coordination of the IBDMDT with the IBD CNC
  • Coordination of the Virtual biologic clinic and annual VBIC audit
  • Annual IBD biologic service audit
  • A minimum of one clinical research project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Year 3-4 of specialist training in Gastroenterology
  • Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Prior Research experience
