About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Consult services to IBD inpatients under gastroenterology or colorectal units
- Attendance at outpatient clinics weekly
- Attendance at a weekly endoscopy list focussed on IBD and dysplasia
- Review of patients receiving biologics in the infusion centre
- Coordination of the IBDMDT with the IBD CNC
- Coordination of the Virtual biologic clinic and annual VBIC audit
- Annual IBD biologic service audit
- A minimum of one clinical research project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Year 3-4 of specialist training in Gastroenterology
- Primary medical degree (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Prior Research experience
