About the role
- Undertaking comprehensive preliminary mental health and risk assessments
- Determining the presence, urgency and nature of mental health concerns
- Facilitating timely responses by:
- Referring to internal specialist mental health services
- Linking consumers with relevant external agencies
- Providing clinical advice, support and risk management guidance
Requirements
- Extensive experience managing complex mental health presentations, including acute or high-risk cases
- A strong working knowledge of mental health legislation, policy frameworks, and evidence-based practice
- Excellent organisational and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A commitment to delivering recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care
- The ability to work autonomously while actively contributing to team collaboration and shared learning.
